What the BLS Provider course covers
The AHA BLS Provider course is built around high-quality CPR for adults, children and infants — the compressions, ventilations and rhythm recognition that keep a patient viable until advanced care arrives. You will work through single-rescuer and team-based scenarios, because in a real code you are almost never alone.
Every student practises on a manikin with feedback, uses a bag-mask device, and runs an AED. The course finishes with a skills check-off against AHA criteria, and your BLS Provider eCard is valid for two years.
Which option do I need?
New certification is the full classroom course — take it if you have never held a BLS card, or if yours has already expired.
Renewal is the shorter course for anyone whose current card has not yet lapsed. Skills check-off is for students who have completed the AHA online module (HeartCode) elsewhere and only need the hands-on portion signed off.
Blended learning combines the AHA online module with an in-person skills session — useful when shift patterns make a full classroom day hard to schedule.
On-site BLS training for your facility
We bring the manikins, AED trainers, bag-mask devices and paperwork to you. With 5 or more attendees inside a 50-mile radius of Milford, DE you get the discounted group rate, and your staff lose an hour or two instead of a whole shift.
That suits nursing homes, dental practices, urgent-care clinics, physical-therapy groups, home-health agencies and school nursing teams across Kent, Sussex and the Eastern Shore. Fewer than five attendees, or outside the radius? Call — we will quote it.
